  1. (Creative Writing) “D.O.P.E. Poetry Sessions"  (D.O.P.E. Stands for developing observant poetic expression). This creative writing session for younger students explores simple metaphors, playful language, and imagination. Children learn how words can paint pictures, create feelings, and tell powerful stories. The session introduces kid-friendly spoken word and performance poetry, encouraging confidence, creativity, and a love for writing.

  2. (Self-Defense)- Speak Up, Stand Strong Self-Defense Classes - This two-part workshop teaches safety, awareness, anti-bullying skills, and how to use your voice as your first line of defense. Led by a Survivor Empowerment Council member, Mental Health First Aid responder, and black-belt martial artist with 35+ years of experience in Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun, and more, students build confidence and practical skills to stay safe.

  3. (Visual Arts) "Voice Through Visual Art Classes" help youth discover their voice by expressing ideas through painting, affirmations, poetic imagery, and other mixed-media techniques. Using elements of expressive arts, students learn to tell powerful stories while incorporating mindfulness and purpose-driven creativity into their work.
