Tuesday, 4/21/2026, MoPoetry facilitates “: “Unlock: Creating Spaces for Youth Voices” online for the Cincinnati Public Schools Curriculum Board. (closed event). This program will craft rooms where young people know their ideas won’t be mocked or minimized. Create structures that allow young people to guide agendas, design projects, and influence outcomes rather than simply being invited to the table. Cultivate various forms of expression, because not every young person speaks through a mic; some sketch, some write, some tell stories. Also, it will offer multiple artistic, cultural, and linguistic modes so each voice can emerge by pairing youth with adults who practice supportive listening, nurtures confidence, agency, and long-term leadership capacity.
